Here at A-Med Realty group we specialize in the selling and leasing of medical and healthcare related businesses and real estate. Our service lines include:
Residential Care facilities for the Elderly (RCFE), Adult Residential Facilities (ARF) for both developmentally disabled and mentally ill and group homes.
Residential Care facilities for the Elderly (RCFE): These type of facilities are typically funded through private pay which can come from a variety of sources, like retirement benefits, long term care insurance, and/or family contributions. RCFE provide care, supervision and assistance with activities of daily living, such as bathing and grooming. They may also provide incidental medical services under special care plans. The facilities provide services to persons 60 years of age and over and persons under 60 with compatible needs. RCFEs may also be known as assisted living facilities, retirement homes and board and care homes. The facilities can range in size from six beds or less to over 100 beds. The residents in these facilities require varying levels of personal care and protective supervision.
Adult Residential Facilities (ARF) developmentally disabled: These facilities are Typically funding through the regional centers, these type of facilities provide 24-hour non-medical care for adults ages 18 through 59, who are unable to provide for their own daily needs. Adults may be physically handicapped, developmentally disabled, and/or both mentally disabled.
Adult Residential Facilities (ARF) mentally ill: These facilities are Typically funding through residents SSI or SSA benefits these type of facilities provide 24-hour non-medical care for adults ages 18 through 59, who are unable to provide for their own daily needs. Adults usually have some type of mental illness, and/or mentally disabled.
Group Homes: These facilities are typically funded through County Agencies and/or Regional Centers, depending on the need of the clients. Group Homes are facilities of any capacity and provide 24-hour non-medical care and supervision to children in a structured environment. Group Homes provide social, psychological, and behavioral programs for troubled youths.
- Residential Care Facility for the Elderly (RCFE): A Registered Nurse decided that it was time to retire after 25 years of running one of the most successful facilities in South Orange County. Her facility was always full and generated a very high income. She was able to sell her facility to another Nurse with our help and donated a portion of the proceeds to charity.
- Adult Residential Facility (ARF)– Developmental Disabled: A lifelong ARF operator with more than 25 years in the industry and over 6 facilities was looking to sell his facilities fast due to Licensing issues. In less than 1 month A-Med Realty Group was able to find him qualified buyers who were approved by both Dept. of Social Services CCLD and Regional Center to acquire facilities. A-Med Realty was able to find buyers fast and still preserve market value returns for seller.
- Adult Residential Facility (ARF)-Mentally Ill: A lifelong operator who operated a 40 bed facility in a prime area of Orange County was looking for an exit strategy to start his retirement. Property value had out grown the business but A-Med Realty Group was able to find a buyer who incorporated additional services to complement the existing business in order for acquisition to make financial sense. A-Med Realty Group was able to get seller a great price by tapping into its vast network of buyers.
